Monday Morning Speaker:  Barbara Beizer

Between Jobs:  Powerful ways to re-energize, stay focused and connect.

Some of the biggest challenges when you are looking for a job are keeping a clear focus on what’s most important to you, finding ways to renew your energy, as well as discovering and keeping the support you deserve.

About the Presentation

Join us for a stimulating, interactive hour with Barbara Beizer, Transition Coach.  You will leave this session with a renewed sense of confidence, clarity and connection, and take away tools that you can use again and again.

About the Speaker:

Barbara has over 30 years of experience in leadership and organizational development in both private and public sectors.  She knows firsthand the opportunities and agonies of being between jobs.  Now she coaches people through the territory of transitions and helps them develop sustainable strategies for their own personal and professional success.  She has developed and led initiatives on strategic planning, executive development and coaching, mentoring, employee training and engagement, team performance, and change management.  Her passion is working with individuals and groups to find fulfillment and achieve their goals.

Since retiring from full-time corporate work in 2009, Barbara coaches individuals and leads workshops on managing life and work transitions.  Barbara received her Masters degree in Organizational Management from Fielding Graduate University, and did her thesis work on change, resistance and the laws of attraction.  She holds a degree from George Washington University, and has studied at UC Berkeley, Boston University and Grenoble University in France.  She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in India, and now facilitates community multi-cultural dialogues, and consults to non-profits.

She loves to travel, play tennis, read, and spend time with her three charming grandchildren, who teach her to have a beginners mind every day.  She commutes between Washington DC and New York City, where her husband works.
