Gaea L. Honeycutt, President

Gaea Honeycutt has worked in both the private and public sectors, serving entrepreneurs, research and development companies, small businesses, government agencies and nonprofits. Drawing on diverse expertise, her firm helps organizations realize their visions, transforming ideas into measurable, achievable action through tailored strategic, business and leadership development services. Ms. Honeycutt has delivered presentations for a number of organizations on topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing and social media. 

As a Co-founder and Past Chairman of the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, she has been a vital connector for the organization. With her intuitive and results-oriented leadership, many an entrepreneur has realized the value of collaboration and support of fellow entrepreneurs. Ms. Honeycutt brought to the Chamber a multifaceted lens developed from her experiences in such areas as public policy, nonprofit management, social research and development.   

Since stepping down as Chairman, Ms. Honeycutt has provided the same leadership, business development and strategy services to her clients.  Her newest venture is a leadership institute to engage socially and economically marginalized communities in harnessing and leveraging the foundations of innovation and competitive advantage.   

She serves on the DC Advisory Board of Peace First and the LearnServe Growth Council; and has served on boards for the Black Women’s Roundtable and the Heartland Alliance for Human Needs and Human Rights.  Ms. Honeycutt is a member of the American Evaluation Association, Consulting Women and Washington Network Group. She is also a graduate of the Masters Series for Distinguished Leaders and Leadership Fairfax

  1. Leave the Dupont Circle Metro Station by the 19th Street SOUTH exit.
  2. At the top of the escalator (street level), turn 180 degrees, and walk a short distance towards Dupont Circle.
  3. Turn right and walk counter-clockwise around the outside of the Circle, past Connecticut and Massachusetts Avenues.
  4. At P Street, turn right . Proceed on P Street past 18th Street.
  5. 40Plus is near the end of the block on the right side, at 1718 P Street, in the Webster House apartment building.
