Executive recruiter and business development expert Bonnie Hughes brings her extensive practical experience to an in depth discussion of the most crucial phase of career transition: the interview and salary negotiation.

BIO

Ms. Hughes has more than twenty years management experience in executive recruiting, executive transition service, marketing, marketing research, consulting, and business development in a number of diverse industries. During her five years as a principal of a retained temporary and full-time executive recruiting firm Ms. Hughes was responsible for developing new client contacts, nurturing relationships and generating business in diverse companies and industries for executive level positions in marketing, sales, operations, finance, and human resources.

Prior to entering the recruiting profession, Ms. Hughes served as a consultant at market research firms Yankelovich Partners and G. Bhalla & Associates. During this period she was responsible for managing client services for key customers including Microsoft, Sprint, Pizza Hut, and Pfizer.

She began her career in marketing management as a Marketing Manager and Director for noted consumer products companies: Gillette; Libby, McNeil & Libby; R. T French; and Curtice Burns.

Ms. Hughes holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. She is an Ambassador for the Greater Washington Board of Trade, a founder and Advisory Board member of the Executive Women's Roundtable, was a board member of the Seneca Zoological Society of Rochester, New York, and of the University of Chicago Women's Business Group.
