BIO

Margarita Rozenfeld initially developed coaching skills in kindergarten. A chronic and recovering overachiever, she pioneered her class in the mastery of shoelace tying. This motivated her friends to seek self-reliance and she was hired (for brownie points) to coach the group through the process. Having triumphed in her first task as a coach and a trainer, Margarita is thrilled that clients continue to seek her support in conquering challenges.

After decades of coaching friends, colleagues and strangers as a hobby, Margarita completed her formal training at the Coaches Training Institute in 2001 and was certified by the International Coach Federation. She is also a certified NLP practitioner and qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner. In addition to individual and group coaching, Margarita facilitates organizational retreats and leads experiential learning programs for corporate, non-profit and government clients.

In 2007 the Greater Washington Board of Trade honored Margarita’s company with the prestigious “One to Watch” award.

In 2002 Margarita founded YES!Circle and quickly transformed it from a small support group for start-ups to a leading networking, advisory and educational organization in the region. YES!Circle also became one of the vehicles for Margarita to become actively involved in the Washington non-profit community, particularly by supporting the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. For the past two years YES!Circle has been recognized by the Washington Business Journal’s Book of Lists as one of the leading Community Investors. And, in 2007 the organization was awarded the much-coveted “My Business Cares” seal for social responsibility from Greater DC Cares.

Margarita graduated with honors from James Madison University with degrees in International Affairs and Spanish and a minor in Russian Studies. Her passion for international development, exploring different cultures and intent to change the world has compelled her to travel, live and work overseas. Margarita’s uniquely integrated educational, corporate, international, and coaching experience enables her to work with a diverse, multicultural clientele in English, Russian and Spanish.

Doors open at 9:30 for networking and the program starts promptly at 10:00.
