BIO

Ritzya, The Drama Coach

Ritzya Mitchell comes from New Rochelle, a suburb of New York City, by way of UNC-G, where she got her bachelor’s degree in theatre. Besides her professional acting career, Ritzya has been a successful administrator, sales executive, teacher and mother.

In addition, Ritzya has run a number of homebased businesses and ministries over the years. Among them have been a gourmet cookie business and a food bank providing free food monthly to hundreds of needy families and involving 150 volunteers.

Many careers later, she found she was always using the talents and skills she developed as an actress.

Business and drama merge in The Drama Coach™.

Her vision is to see her clients make a greater impact when speaking in front of a group by communicating with passion, purpose and polish. Today, Ritzya’s clients are as varied as businessmen and women, authors, entrepreneurs, and candidates for public office. She also works extensively with students preparing for national competitions.

Ritzya has worked on everything from the inception of a message through its delivery in front of an audience, bringing clarity and creativity to the end result. And always adding an element of humor and fun.

Here’s what some of Ritzya’s clients say about their experience with her:

"Thank you. Everything went super at the presentation regarding my book. Knocked 'em dead! The most often repeated feedback was that I put genuine emotion and feelings into the key points and stories which made them engaging, interesting and meaningful. That was your influence and coaching. I couldn't have done it without your specific and helpful suggestions!"
Dick Stieglitz, author

"What I needed was a catalyst to change my presentations from routine political rhetoric (i.e. boring) to inspiring, motivational and even memorable! Ritzya helped me to do that! Ritzya works not only with the presentation but also the content. She helped me present my ideas in a way that people would relate, understand and remember. I emphasize that she did not put words in my mouth, but helped me put my own ideas into a package that would engage my audience."
Patricia Phillips, Candidate, Virginia State Senate
